SUNDAYS: 9:15 AM & 10:45 AM

Our church intentionally serves in our community. It's something we have done for a long time and something we desire to do "under-the-radar." We don't want recognition for it or for folks to think our church is prideful about itself.

But several months ago we felt God leading us to be more intentional about sharing HIS story...the story of His great love for us and the true motivation behind our service to our community. We hope that you have landed on this page as a result of someone in our church serving you in some fashion. And since you're here, we'd like to share something with you.

We believe that God created everything, including us! We believe that He created us to bring him glory. God is not just a deity among others; God is the sole Creator of the universe and everything in it.

"So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female." Genesis 1:27

"I will say to the north: Give them up! and to the south: Do not hold them back! Bring My sons from far away, and My daughters from the ends of the earth  — everyone called by My name and created for My glory. I have formed him; indeed, I have made him." Isaiah 43:6-7

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for God’s glory." 1 Corinthians 10:31

So what about us? Where do we fit in this story? We believe that the first person created, Adam, made a willful decision to go against God's perfect will for humanity and rebelled against God. Once Adam rebelled and sin entered the world, every generation that followed was born into an inherent spiritual blindness and rebellious spirit toward God. This separates us from God.

"For all have sinned  and fall short of the  glory of God." Romans 3:23

"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,  and death through sin,  in this way death spread to all men,  because all sinned. In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression.  He is a prototype  of the Coming One." Romans 5:12-14

God loves us so much He does not want to see us separated from Him. But because sin is so reprehensible to God, it requires payment. There must a sacrifice to cover our rebellion against Him. That sacrifice was provided by God's Son. The greatest gift that God ever gave us was the ultimate sacrifice of His own Son, Jesus Christ, as payment for our sin.

"For God loved  the world in this way:  He gave His One and Only Son,  so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

"A thief comes only to steal  and to kill and to destroy.  I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance." John 10:10,

"But God proves  His own love for us  in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!" Romans 5:8

"Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:10

So what is our response to this? How do we react to the gift that He gave through His Son, Jesus? The response is we repent. We turn from that rebellious spirit and choose to turn to Christ. We trust Him as our Savior. We understand that without His sacrifice, we can never be in the presence of our Creator. So we put our faith and trust in Christ and in Him alone and accept His free gift of salvation.

"If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

"But when the kindness of God our Savior and His lovefor mankind appeared, He saved us—not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy—through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior7so that, having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4-7

We would love to have a conversation with you about what Christ did for us, and for you, when He gave up His life for us. If you'd like to speak with someone about this "REAL HOPE" that we have found in Jesus, please send us an email at or give us a call at 615.443.4911.
