We exist as a student ministry to partner with families in the proper discipleship of their students who will, in turn, make disciples wherever God may lead them.

FIRST TIME GUESTS

We love to have new guests come hang out with Glade Students!  On Sundays and Wednesdays, our high school gatherings are hosted in the Student Life Center across the rear parking lot from the main church building.  We'll make introductions and connections to other students and to leaders in High School ministry.  Come join in the fun and get ready to study the Word of God!

HS Ministry Guest Card

Complete the guest card and we’ll introduce your student(s) to others in their grade. If you would like to plan a visit with us on either a Sunday or a Wednesday, please email Jeremiah Scott and we would love to ensure that your student has the best experience possible.

MEET JEREMIAH SCOTT

Jeremiah Scott is the High School & College Pastor at The Glade Church.  Jeremiah started in August 2024 and had been painted blue while tailgating at WCHS and spotted falling from a tree while promoting Fall Retreat!  His family is amazing and his heart for the Lord is evident as you hear Jeremiah teach from God's Word.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Sunday mornings are one of our primary gathering times where we meet from 9:15 to 10:30 AM. Our meetings take place in The Student Life Center (SLC) where we begin with a group rally, run through all that updates and announcements that pertain to High School Ministry, and we share a common teaching for the day. After a moment together we break out into table groups and pour over rich biblical teaching led by a number of vetted leaders who lead discussion and pose interactive questions in a small group format. All of this is done in hopes of engaging your student in a healthy, safe, and thought-provoking environment.

We study The Gospel Project.  A Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that takes our students on a three year journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation to see how Christ connects with all of Scripture. Along the way, students will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

From August to May our students gather on Wednesday nights from 6 PM to 7:15 PM for an evening of fellowship, worship, and biblical teaching. We hope to have your student join us for these rich evenings of worship.

The current series "Transforming Worship" is underway, led by Jeremiah Scott.

Friendsgiving

Friendsgiving is all about community!! On November 20, students can bring a Thanksgiving dish to enjoy as a High School Ministry. The food will be collected from 5:30 to 6:00 in the Student Life Center. Through this event, we hope to build community as well as look back at 2024 and give thanks to God's for His provision. You can sign up for a dish below, but make sure you reserve your menu item before November 13. Let's get cooking!

Holiday World

Join us for this summertime fan favorite! Students who have completed 6th-12th grade are invited to a fun-filled day at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana.

Cost: $60

Important Items to Know:

  • Students should arrive at the Student Life Center (HS Building) between 6:30 am and 6:45 am.  We will begin loading the bus at 6:45 am.  Please do not be late.
  • We will not stop on the way, so please make sure your student eats before they arrive.
  • If your student has a cell phone, we recommend sending it with them on the trip. If they don’t have a phone, there is no need to worry as students will never be alone in the park.
  • This is an ALL DAY trip. Please remember to send your student with at least enough money to purchase lunch and dinner in the park.  We will head home about 6 pm and arrive back at The Glade around 9 pm, so most students will want to eat something before we head home.
  • Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari is now cashless (https://holidayworld.com/park-info/payment-options/) to provide faster service and increased security. They accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover via credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, and Samsung Pay too. (No personal checks.). If your student brings cash, they will have to buy and in park gift card to use while in the park.
  • Lockers can be rented inside the park for $20 for a small or $25 for a large. A $20 locker is sufficient for at least 2 small bags. If your student wishes to use the water park, we recommend that they bring a small bag and a towel and plan on renting a locker for a dry change of clothes.
  • Finally, we strongly recommend that you receive updates from the team throughout the day. To do so, please download the WhatsApp messenger app and click below.
WhatsApp Parent Thread

WhatsApp messenger works best on your smartphone but there is a desktop client as well. We will be using it to send photos throughout the day as well as letting parents know when we have arrived, when we have left, and ETAs
